Trends. They’re what every beauty and fashion editor at New York Fashion Week are trying to nail down. If I had to predict one that’ll come out of the spring/summer 2014 shows, it’d be white makeup. From white nails (both sheer and opaque) seen at Carolina Herrera, Charlotte Ronson and more, to the striking white liner seen at Kate Spade and Tibi, white makeup seemed to be the “it” non-color of the week. What do think, will you embrace it?

I’m always on the prowl for products that make me look like I put in more effort than I actually did. And, when it comes to my morning makeup routine, Jouer’s Sunday Brunch Collection, $68 nailed it. With a perfect shimmering gold highlighter, champagne-colored eye shadow, matte apricot blush and peachy-gold gloss, you’ll look awake and fresh-faced with very little time or energy spent. The products are a genius combo — I swear it takes me 10 seconds to dust each of them into place. And with Jouer’s signature packaging, the individual products snap together like Legos (I swear, they really are genius), making the group of products a perfect, easy-to-grab set for my bathroom or gym bag. Though it’s made for Sunday brunch, it’s perfect for use on any other day of the week.
Now tell me, do you have a favorite beauty shortcut, product, palette or collection? Do tell …
